Wicketed bag is also called open bag. It’s widely used for food packaging and non-food packaging. Such as bakery bread, ice, fruits, vegetables, meat, baby diapers, feminine hygiene products. And it is widely used for automatic, semi-automatic and manual load applications. For easy dispensing, wicketed bags are often held together with a thin wire (a wicket). When packed together on a wicket, bags can be mounted on a blower that opens each individual bag. Once packaged, the bag at the front is torn from the wicket, and the next bag is blown open, ready for the next product.

As we all know, the wicketed bags provide an easy highly efficient way for packaging during the automatic production line. Depending on the clients’ requirements, the bags can be manufactured in many sizes and thicknesses, being equipped with leisure score and plastic handle. To achieve maximum efficiency, many food packaging lines are equipped with automatic packing equipment. Many industrial packaging lines are equipped with workstations that are designed to hold the wicket of bags so the packaging operator is easy and fast to remove a bag from the wicket after the product is placed inside.

A full wicket of bags usually consists of 100 to 300 bags per wicket. This pack out can be customized depending on the size, gauge of the bag and the packing machines.
