WUXI CRRC HOFER POWERTRAIN CO., LTD. was established in Wuxi Huishan Economic Development Zone in October, 2018. It is jointly invested by CRRC Times Electric (Hong Kong) Co., LTD., hofer powertrain international GmbH and Wuxi Hui Chengyuanda Investment Partnership. Equipped with an international and professional team, CRRC hofer focuses on the R&D, production, sales and other services of NEV drive system. Based on the "German quality + CRRC intelligent manufacturing", by integrating advantage resources and expertise in the e-drive field of both shareholders, CRRC hofer commits to providing consulting + product "one-stop" services for customers with high performance, high integrated and customized powertrain system solutions. CRRC hofer is equipped with industry-leading manufacturing and testing capabilities to guarantee product delivery and quality. With industry 4.0 and Made in China 2025 as the orientation, CRRC hofer strives to build the MODEL intelligent factory which is expected to be officially put into production in early 2021. After production, a capacity of 150,000 sets of powertrain products per year shall be reached. In addition, CRRC hofer has the world's leading and complete testing capability from parts to whole vehicle level. With top test equipments whose key performance parameters are ahead of productions for 5-8 years, CRRC hofer’s testing center can meet various R&D testing requirements in the future.
