Product Overview

PMF-C insert electromagnetic flowmeter is composed of plug-in sensor and converter. The sensor consists of stopper rod, electrode, excitation coil, ball valve, seal and connecting rod. The converter includes internal circuit board and converter shell. After amplifying, processing and calculating flow signals, it can display instantaneous flow and accumulated flow, and output pulse and analog current signals for measuring and controlling fluid flow. PMF-C series plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter adopts intelligent converter, which not only has measurement and display functions, but also supports data remote transmission, wireless remote control and alarm functions.

● Compared with the conventional pipeline flow meter, the secondary input cost is low and the installation cost is less.

● On-line pluggable installation products can be easily installed and disassembled without stopping water under low pressure or with pressure.

● It can be simply installed in existing pipelines, and is very suitable for increasing flow measurement and monitoring points in existing pipelines.

● The measurement accuracy is not affected by the temperature, pressure, density, viscosity and conductivity (conductivity greater than 20μs/cm) of the measured medium.

● Adopt advanced low-frequency square wave excitation, with stable zero-point, strong anti-interference ability and reliable operation.

● The flow measurement range is wide, and the full-scale flow rate in the measured pipeline can be arbitrarily set from 0.5 m/s to 10 m/s,and the output signal has a linear relationship with the flow rate.

Scope of application of products

PMF-C plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter is used to measure the volume flow of conductive fluid in closed pipeline, which is suitable for flow measurement and control in the production process of petrochemical industry, iron and steel metallurgy, water supply and drainage,irrigation, water treatment, total amount control of environmental sewage,paper making, medicine, food and other industrial and agricultural departments.PMF-C is suitable for DN100~ DN2000 pipeline, and can measure and monitor the flow rate or flow rate of fluid medium with conductivity not less than 20 μS/cm on line. The measurement of PMF-C is not affected by the changes of fluid pressure, temperature, density and viscosity, and can also be measured with a small amount of solid particles or bubbles.

Installation requirements

Selection of installation environment

(1) Keep away from equipment with strong field as far as possible, such as large motors and transformers.

(2) There shall be no strong vibration in the installation site, the pipeline shall be firmly fixed, the ambient temperature shall not change much, and the place where the sun is not directly exposed.

(3) The installation environment should be convenient for installation and maintenance.

Selection of installation position

(1) The installation position must ensure that the pipeline is always filled with the measured fluid.

(2) Choose a place with small fluid flow pulsation,that is, keep away from local resistance parts such as pumps, valves and elbows.

(3) When measuring two-phase (solid, liquid or gas,liquid) fluid, choose a place that is not easy to cause two-phase separation.

(4) Negative pressure should be avoided at the measuring position.

(5) The diameter or circumference of the pipe to be measured is easy to measure, and the ovality should be small.
