6. Character : It is white granular, slightly bitter and odorless. The aqueous solution is colorless. Melting point is 772℃, boiling point is more than 1600℃. The relative density is 2.15. It is easily deliquescent in the air. Calcium chloride will generate CaCl2•8NH3 if reacting with ammonia, meanwhile, it will generate CaCl2•4C2H5OH if reacting with alcohol.
7. Usage : It is used as desiccant, chelating agent, curing agent, calcium reinforcer, drying agent. It can increase the permeability of bacterial cell walls. Used as dehydrating agent when producing alcohol, ester, ether and acrylic resin; cryogen for refrigeration; Used as deinking agents; raw material of calcium salt; Calcium chloride can used as flocculating agent in Sodium alginate and Soy products industry; Anti-tackiness agent; Anti microbial agent; Pickling agent; Modifying agent; anti-fogging agent; Anti-corrosive; ubricating oil additive; analytical reagent.
8. Packing : It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
9. Storage and Transport : It should be stored in a dry and ventilating warehouse, be cautious to keep away from moisture and hot, unloaded with care so as to avoid the damage. Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous substances.
