1. The production process

The wire galvanizing process for high carbon steel wire is different from low carbon steel wire, as high carbon steel wire is normally drawn after phosphating treatment, and the no-annealed wire surface have wire drawing grease, so before galvanizing need to clean the phosphating film and grease film on wire surface. The actual drawing process is as following:

800 Vertical spools pay-off→ Tension →Electrolytic acid pickling →Water washing→ Water washing→ Electrolytic degreasing

→ Neutralization→ Water washing →Activation →Water washing →Thickness zinc coating →Bright zinc coating →

Water washing→Passivation→Baking→800 Spools take-up.

2. Introduction of chief parts

A. Total motor power: 85KW.

B. Capacity of running wire diameter: 2.5-4.0mm high carbon steel wire

C. Capacity of zinc coating thickness: 60-280g/m2, can be used as the instead of hot dip galvanizing line.

D. Max. take-up speed: 100m/min, can be adjusted by frequency conversion motor.

E. Size of wire take-up spools: φ800mm.

F. The total length of whole machine: 28 m, considering the dimension of your workshop, we will collocate the whole line in L shape as the photo that you have sent to us, and the tuning roller for 90 degree will be put after thickness zinc coating and before bright zinc coating .
