Product Descriptions:

SiCare®2920 is a large particle size amino silicone oil emulsion emulsified by cationic surfactant; it has good reactivity and excellent adsorbability, and cationic structure offering anti-static property, which is widely applied in wig treatment, shampoo, hair dying and hair conditioning products. Most of its functions are better than non-ionic amino silicone oil micro-emulsion.

Product Applications:

It is functional cationic large particle diameter amino silicone emulsion, typical for treating agent for synthetic hair or chemical fiber processing:
1. Containing several active functional groups; high reactivity, cross-linking reaction with many fiber products, especially polyester, PVC, acrylic fibers and dacron, performs good adhesion.
2. Containing many methyl functional groups, offer synthetic hair excellent smoothness, high resilient and pliability.
3. Its cation can offer excellent anti-static performance to synthetic hair, it helps synthetic hair to be fluffy, exquisite, plum and smooth, as well as fiber to smooth, not easy to knot and reach a higher sense of reality.
4. High solid content, easy absorption, diluted by water at ratio of 1:40 for usage.
5. Applicable for leave-on hair conditioner, hair gel and hair styling products.
6. Applicable for hair dye and hair cold waving products.
7. Applicable for hair shampoo and other hair care products.

Compatibility:

SiCare^®2920 can be added into cationic, anionic or non-ionic surfactant systems.

Note: SiCare^®2920 containing surfactant, is easy to cause bacterial pollution, so it should be run out fast after diluted by water, otherwise add 0.2% preservative.

Application method:
 Wig treatment:

1. Make dilute solution by DI water at ratio of 1:40
2. Put chemical fiber in solution, and bake (80-120℃)
3. After cooling, process second baking; usually the higher temperature, the better smoothness and plumpness; recommended general temperature should be around 160-200℃.

 Cosmetics application:
SiCare®2920 is suggested to be added in the last stage of cosmetics making while maintain below 50℃, mix well while adding until homogenized.
For shampoo products, the dosage is suggested about 0.3-0.6%, for conditioner about 0.5-3.0%.

Storage and Validity:

Unopened stored at normal temperature, the shelf-life is 18 months since the date of production.
