Introduction
The powder coating is cured by polyester resin and epoxy resin. It has excellent heat and humidity resistance,Salt fog resistance and corrosion resistance. It can be used for surface coating and decoration of various indoor appliances, furniture and hardware.
Appearance
There are various appearances, from low gloss to high gloss.
Special Appearance: Texture, sand, metallic or pearl, mixed color, other special appearance upon request.
Physical properties
Special gravity:1.2-1.8(depending on the gloss and color)
Distribution of powder size:100% less than 100 microns (can be adjusted by the application requirement)
Flowability: 120-140
Volatility <0.8%
Cure condition
200ºC(Object temperature)/10mins
180ºC(Object temperature)/15mins
Typical Performance Properties
All the tests as follows are carried out on a 0.8mm steel panel with a film thickness of 50-70 microns.
Remark:
1)Gloss: Can be adjusted from 0 to 95 according to the request of the customer
2)Impact: Different gloss has different resistance capabilities of impact
Smooth:50Kg.cm, Low gloss:40Kg.cm
3)Mandrel Bend: The capability of bend is according to the gloss
4)The distribution of Particle: Use LS-POP(III)Laser particle sizer, it has no standard tester method defined by the nation.
5)Salt spray and Aging resistance: Will test according to the client's request.
6)Cup-process tests may vary slightly depending on the glossy and surface effect of the product, with matte, texture, and sand-grained cup-processes generally being slightly smaller than high-gloss powders
Average Coverage
9-12 square meters per kilogram at a film thickness of 60 microns.(at 100% powder utilization)
TGIC&Primid
Both TGIC & Primid systems are available, we can supply them as per your request.

Our Category:
Classification according to the main components of powder coating raw materials
1. Polyester Non-TGIC (Industry or Architecture)
This coating uses a "Primid" type curing agent, developed as an alternative to TGIC curing systems. These coatings are used on a decreasing basis, primarily due to appearance issues at heavy film thicknesses.
New raw materials and processes are continuously evaluated for ongoing product development and enhancement — improved properties, and lower cost!
2. Polyester TGIC(Industry or Architecture)
This is the most "forgiving" exterior powder coating vs non-TGIC polyesters. Excellent weather-ability, toughness, and color stability are hallmarks. Appearance is best at 1.5 miles and over. Very flexible, these coatings can be "post formed" provided proper tooling setups are used. A wide range of cure temperatures and dwell times can be used.
Most TGIC polyesters can be used for Aluminum extrusion, Automotive components, recreational and playground equipment, Fencing, and outdoor light posts.
3. Hybrid
For interior use with some indirect UV exposure or where much better color stability in varying cure cycles is desired. Achieving a good balance between Epoxy and Polyester, these coatings are ideal on display/store shelving and most indoor appliances.
4. Epoxy
For interior and non-critical weathering applications where chemical, electrical, or possible livestock ingestion environments are encountered
Typical applications are on lab furniture, water/well pumps, certain engine components, children’s' toys, certain electrical components.
5. Polyurethane
Provides excellent leveling, smoothness and gloss. Superior hardness can be achieved (usually one "pencil" more than TGIC) and is designed for relatively low film build. Certain chemical resistances can be developed to a high level. This product is sensitive to cure parameters; they must be closely followed for optimum results.
6. Acrylic
This technology platform will meet key specifications up to AAMA 2605 and 625. These special resins now have a 10+ year track record, offering improved ultra violet stability versus Super Durable powders and improved hardness and stucco resistance versus Kynar resin based liquid and powder materials.
7. Functional
Functional coatings including super durable, thermal-transfer, clear powder coating, Antistatic, Heat-resistant, Zinc-Rich anti-corrosion, Antimicrobial, etc.
