AWS E312-16
DESCRIPTION:
AWS E312-16 is a Cr29Ni9 duplex stainless steel electrode with titanium calcium type coating. Both AC and DC are applied and welding process performance is good. Due to the extremely low carbon content and the presence of molybdenum and nitrogen, the deposited metal has good crack resistance and corrosion resistance, especially stress corrosion resistance.
APPLICATION:
Suitable for welding of 29-9 stainless steel, cast steel, dissimilar steels, and welding of various types of surfacing, cracking, and porosity-prone materials.
ATTENTION:
Before welding,the welding electrodes must be baked at about 250°C for 1 hour.
