What are the characteristics of surgical face mask materials? Surgical face masks are generally used in high-demand environments such as medical clinics, laboratories, and operating rooms. They are worn as masks for medical staff. The safety factor is relatively high, and the resistance to bacteria and viruses is strong. Medical surgical masks can also be used to prevent flu.

Non-woven disposable surgical face mask is made of two layers of non-woven fabric and one layer of melt blown fabric. The two layers of non-woven fabric are respectively at the outside of the mask and the inner side contacting the skin. Usually, we use the medical non-woven fabric material with a weight of 20 or 25 grams per square meter. In the middle is a layer of filter paper for filtration and bacteria prevention. The above three layers of materials are welded by ultrasonic, forming a mask body.
