The surface layer is 45g non-woven fabric, the second layer is 45g FFP2 filter material, and the inner layer is 220g needle punched cotton.

In order to protect the airways against dust, the particle-filtering half-mask is formed from a soft polymeric plasticized foam having a cushioning of the same material in the region of the sealing surface on the face. In its interior the cushioning has a filling of a polymeric foam with a bendable, metallic inlay which can be adapted to the contour of the face. Reinforcing rods in pockets on the inner side of the mask body impart the requisite stability to the mask. An opening bordered by a peripheral strip in the mask body receives the exchangeable filter (non-woven fabric). The half-mask is lightweight, is very comfortable to wear and can be reused because it is only the filter which needs to be exchanged.
