Characteristics of Aluminum Profile:
-Corrosion Resistance
The density of aluminum profile is only 2.7g/cm3, which is about 1/3 of that of steel, copper or brass (7.83g/ cm3, 8.93g/ cm3, respectively). In most environmental conditions, including in air, water (or salt water), petrochemistry and many chemical systems, aluminum can show excellent corrosion resistance.
-Conductivity
Aluminum profile is often selected for its excellent conductivity. On the basis of equal weight, the conductivity of aluminum is nearly twice that of copper.
-Thermal conductivity
The thermal conductivity of aluminum alloy is about 50-60% of copper, which is beneficial to the manufacture of heat exchanger, evaporator, heating appliance, cooking utensil, cylinder head and radiator of automobile.
two
-Nonferromagnetism
Aluminum profile is non ferromagnetic, which is an important feature for the electrical and electronic industries. Aluminum profiles cannot be self ignition, which is important for the application of handling or contacting inflammable and explosive materials.
-Machinability
The machinability of aluminum profile is excellent. In various deformation and casting aluminum alloys, and in the various states after the production of these alloys, the machining characteristics have changed greatly, which requires special machine tools or technologies.
-Formability
The allowable deformation is controlled by specific tensile strength, yield strength, ductility and corresponding processing hardening rate.
-Recyclability
Aluminum has high recovery, and the characteristics of recycled aluminum are almost the same as that of primary aluminum.

Aluminum profiles extrusion is to hot melt and extrude with the help of the extrusion dies the aluminum bars to obtain different cross-sectional shape profiles.
Due to the different proportions of the added alloys, the mechanical properties and application fields of the aluminum profiles are also different.
From the application field, it can be divided into building profiles and industrial profiles. Aluminum Window Profiles Except for doors and windows, curtain walls, interior and exterior decoration, and building structures, all aluminum profiles can be classified as industrial aluminum profiles.
Aluminum is a very commonly specified material for use in extrusions and shape profiles because it possesses mechanical characteristics that make it ideally suited for the shaping and forming metal from billet sections. The high malleability of aluminum means that the metal can be readily shaped into a variety of sections without expending significant energy on the tooling or forming process, and the melting point of aluminum is also generally on the order of half that of ordinary steel. Both of these facts mean that the aluminum extrusion process has a relatively low energy footprint translating into low tooling and manufacturing costs. Finally, aluminum window profiles also possesses a high strength to weight ratio, making it an excellent choice for industrial applications.
