The co-molded case tape with ABS&TPR material , the whole case is covered by TPR, it’s more comfortable when using and the case is fixed by 5pcs screws, it can protect the case and internal spare parts from damage when the tape was impacted by external force, which greatly improves the lifetime of the measuring tape. TPR materials can pass the REACH test to meet the environmental requirements from customers.

This tape could be assembled 0.16mm thickest blade with nylon coat or
0.14mm super thicker blade with nylon wrap .

6. Thickest steel blade, the thickness of the original steel blade is 0.16mm, then add nylon coat , the total thickness can reach to 0.20mm. 0.16mm thickness blade is currently recognized the thickest blade in the world, So far only ASSIST can produce such thickness blade .

7. Thicker steel blade , the thickness of the original steel blade is 0.14mm, then add nylon wrap coating , the total thickness can reach to 0.20mm. Nylon wrap blade with better wear resistance; (sand test is 5 times better than normal painted blade); Nylon wrap blade, the whole blade is wrapped by nylon so the blade is better antirust than normal painted blade, salt spray test of normal painted blade will not be exceed 24 hours, but the nylon wrap blade can reach more than 1000 hours, the blade can be cleaned with water ( Pls note to dry the surface of the blade quickly to avoid the water flowing into the spring and cause damage to the spring )

8. The constant force spring is made of imported steel material, the spring tensile strength and lifetime is improved over 3times . With this spring it can make the blade pulling out and returning back slower , smoother and will not cause damage to the blade. At the same time, it is much more safe when you use it without the too strong spring .
